Fit Back and Bumps is an exercise programme run specifically for mums and mums to be.

It will help you:

  • Exercise safely during and after your pregnancy
  • Reduce the aches and pains associated with pregnancy
  • Reduce stress incontinence by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles
  • Improve your posture
  • Reduce pelvic and back pain by strengthening your core
  • Flatten your tummy after pregnancy

These classes are unique as they are delivered by our qualified physiotherapists to help guide and instruct you, ensuring you exercise safely during pregnancy and after you have had your baby.

The classes

The Ante and Post Natal programmes are run separately and consist of 4 one hour sessions run over 4 weeks. We only have 6 people maximum in each class. They incorporate exercises, stretches and discussions on different topics such as how to regain your core muscles and flat tummy after pregnancy.  All you need to continue exercising during and after pregnancy. What you need to bring

Some exercises are done on a gym ball but we will provide you with all the equipment you need. However, we recommend you have a gym ball at home to allow you to get the most from the classes. You need to wear comfortable clothing. We have changing and shower facilities at the studio.

Cost

£80.00

This includes 4 one hour sessions and a booklet with all the information and exercises to guide you on your way to exercising safely during this exciting time.

Class timetable

The first class of each sessions starts during the first week of each month and will run consecutively for 4 weeks.

The Post Natal class runs on a Tuesday at 10am

The Ante Natal class runs on a Wednesday at 6pm.
