However, the lymphatic system contains organised structures called lymph nodes which can become blocked with excess fluid and swell thus causing pain and discomfort.
Lymphatic drainage is a specialised massage used to help the body remove the build-up toxins which has accumulated in the lymph nodes. This is done by applying light pressure to the problem area to aid with the movement of fluid to none congested lymph nodes so they can be removed.
